About Friends of Callan Park

Visit Callan Park

Open 365 days a year. It is located 6km west of Sydney’s CBD.

How to get there

Bus

Catch a bus to Balmain Road, Rozelle and enter Callan Park via the main Entrance gates opposite Cecily Street, Rozelle.

Taxi/UBER

Tell the driver to drop you at the traffic lights on the corner of Cecily Street and Balmain Road, Rozelle.

Car

The main carpark is off Balmain Road next to NSW Ambulance. For limited parking within the parklands, enter via Cecily Street Gate and follow the signs.

Walk

Enter via Balmain Road, Wharf Road, Glover Street or enter via King George Park and take the Bay Run around the waterfront. See pdf for a more detailed map of the site

  • Come on a guided tour
  • Walk, cycle or jog around Iron Cove
  • Bring your camera. You’ll find plenty of landscapes, wildlife, architecture and vistas to take a picture of!

About Callan Park & Friends of Callan Park

Callan Park is a heritage-listed site in Sydney, Australia. It is bordered by Balmain Road and Manning Street, Rozelle and Glover Street, Lilyfield and runs down to Iron Cove.

Friends of Callan Park is a community action group of volunteers who for over 22 years have been advocates for protecting Callan Park against sell-offs and development.
