Step down services at Callan Park

On 21 June 2018 our local MP, Jamie Parker held a public meeting regarding the draft Landscape Structure Plan at Callan Park.  The Office of Environment & Heritage (OEH) made a presentation describing the rationale for the plan and providing some high level details.  Specifically to create an urban park and create more access to the site from Balmain Road and the waterfront.

At this meeting Jamie Parker announced that NSW Health had conveyed to him that they would be consulting with the community about having step down services on the site.  See the attached press release describing this announcement.  Media Release – New mental health services for Callan Park
