Draft principles and ideas for Callan Park - Saturday 28 August, 10.30-1.30 Recreation Hall, Callan Park (at the end of Wharf Road)

Monthly Meetings

The Friends of Callan Park meet on the first Monday of every month at the NSW Writers’ Centre in Callan Park.

The next monthly meeting will be held Monday, September 6, 2010 at 7pm.

We still have to achieve the return of the hospital and a master plan that maps out the best social and environmental uses for this iconic site.

The Masterplan Process has begun - Have your say.

The State Government has offered Leichhardt Council a 99 year lease for Callan Park. Before taking on this responsibility, Leichhardt Council is preparing a Master Plan to guide Callan Park's future.

The Master Plan will investigate everything from recreation to heritage to infrastructure to mental health to funding and the best possible public management structure for Callan Park.
